Rock Vault

Rock Vault showcases & promotes British fine jewellery talent.

NEWGEN now encompasses Accessories (including all categories such as shoes, bags, hats, jewellery & fine jewellery). Historically NEWGEN has always been open to accessories, and now Rock Vault and Headonism will be absorbed under the NEWGEN initiative, demonstrating the breadth and depth of emerging talent we have, across all designer fashion categories in the UK. We will have specific panels - one focused on Ready to Wear (RTW) and the other on Accessories. Sarah Mower MBE will lead the RTW panel and Stephen Jones OBE and Stephen Webster MBE will lead the Accessories panel alongside other accessories experts.

Rock Vault was a jewellery initiative to support, showcase and promote Britain’s most innovative, fine jewellery talent. Curated by Stephen Webster, this unique showcasing initiative had been developed by the BFC to nurture the creative fine jewellery talent based in London. It gave these designers the opportunity to further develop their businesses, as well as exposure amongst both UK and international media and retailers.

Selected designers received business support mentoring and were awarded a space within the dedicated Rock Vault area at the Designer Showrooms during London Fashion Week.

For 2016/2017 new recipients Daou Jewellery and Frances Wadsworth Jones joined existing Rock Vault designers COMPLETEDWORKS, Lily Kamper, Rachel Boston and Shimell and Madden. This year Ana de Costa, Beth Gilmour, Jacqueline Cullen, Ornella Iannuzzi, RUIFIER and Yunus and Eliza all graduate from the initiative.
