About

The BFC is looking for a Marketing Executive to join the Communications team helping to execute the global marketing strategy across the company’s full portfolio of projects, events and initiatives; including London Fashion Week, London Fashion Week Men’s, London Fashion Week Festival and The Fashion Awards. 

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Marketing team’s point of contact for all internal teams, taking briefs, scheduling workloads and ensuring objectives of projects are met and delivered on time and to brief
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure messaging and creative is aligned to the relevant creative campaign
  • Support on all aspects of content management to deliver required content according to the Marketing Calendar
  • Liaise with and co-ordinate all third party agencies and vendors ensuring the flawless execution of projects
  • Coordinate social media activations alongside wider team for large projects and at events i.e London Fashion Week
  • Attend relevant client meetings, pitches and presentations and ensure notes and actions are captured, shared and reflected in timelines
  • Break projects into manageable actions and communicate these to the team
    Develop timelines and ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within budget
  • Report on all campaigns and projects
  • Oversee Student Placements and Marketing Assistant

Professional Experience & Skills

  • 2 – 3 years relevant marketing experience agency or in-house
  • Process driven with the ability to identify opportunities to improve existing processes
  • Experience working with creative teams
  • Confidence managing multiple projects at once
  • Previous experience in a client facing role
  • Digital and social experience
  • Ability to manage and communicate with team members at all levels
    Experience of project management practices and tools to create, manage, and track project performance and cost
  • Strong knowledge of the fashion industry preferable
  • Solid organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Experience using of MS Office toolset (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) 
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite and Google Docs would be beneficial

 

Salary & Benefits

  • ​Job type: Contract
  • Salary Band:  Dependant on experience
  • Standard company benefits, including 25 days annual holiday
  • Standard company working hours, flexibility required during events, exhibitions, etc
  • Confirmation of appointment and eligibility to benefits, subject to successful completion of a 3 month probationary period 
  • This salary is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). This is due to the BFC being a recipient of ERDF funds and as such employees are required to keep a record, via monthly time sheets, of the work undertaken relating to ERDF funded activities
